Corinth is a city in the northeastern part of the Peloponnese region in southern Greece. It is situated on the narrow stretch of land that connects the Peloponnese to the mainland of Greece, known as the Isthmus of Corinth. The city is strategically located between the Corinthian Gulf to the west and the Saronic Gulf to the east.
