Uganda map shows that it shares its international boundaries with Kenya in the east, Sudan in the north, Democratic Republic of Congo in the west, and Rwanda and Tanzania in the south. The capital city of Uganda is Kampala located in the south-central part of the country. The county got its independence in the year 1962. The government type of Uganda is a presidential republic featured with multi-party system. Under this political system, the President of Uganda is both head of state and head of government. It is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, the African Union, the Organization of the Islamic Conference and East African Community.
Moreover, the economy of the country largely depends upon agriculture and mining industries. Coffee is the main export crop of the country. The natural resources available in the country are copper and cobalt. Besides, country has also untapped reserves of crude oil and natural gas.
