Sandwip, also known as Sandvip, is an island located in the Bay of Bengal, off the southeastern coast of Bangladesh. It is part of the Chittagong District and is situated near the larger city of Chittagong. Sandwip is one of the numerous islands in the region and is known for its historical and cultural significance.
