Chetumal is a city located in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is situated in the southeastern part of Mexico, near the border with Belize. Chetumal serves as the capital of the state of Quintana Roo and is known for its proximity to the beautiful Caribbean Sea and its role as an important regional hub for commerce and tourism. It is located on the eastern coast of the Yucatán Peninsula.
