Where is Zwickau

Zwickau is a city in the Free State of Saxony in eastern Germany. It is situated in the western part of the state, near the border with the state of Thuringia. Zwickau is approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) southwest of Leipzig.

The city has a rich history, and it is known for its automotive heritage. Zwickau was the birthplace of the composer Robert Schumann and the location where August Horch founded the car company that later became Audi. Today, Zwickau is an industrial city with a mix of historical architecture, cultural attractions, and a continuing connection to the automotive industry.
