Aigion, also spelled Egio or Aigio, is a town and a former municipality in the northern part of the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece. As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Aigion is part of the newly formed municipality of Aigialeia. It is situated on the northern coast of the Gulf of Corinth.
