Where is Ellinikon

Ellinikon, or Ellinikó, can refer to different places, but one notable location is Elliniko in Athens, Greece. As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Elliniko is a suburb of Athens, situated in the southern part of the city. Elliniko gained attention due to the former Elliniko International Airport, which was the primary airport serving Athens until it was replaced by the new Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) in 2001. The site of the former Elliniko Airport has undergone redevelopment plans, including the creation of a large urban park.
