Nerang is located in the central Gold Coast region of southeast Queensland, about 70 kilometres south of Brisbane. It lies between the Nerang River and the foothills of the Gold Coast hinterland, including areas that lead toward Mount Tamborine. It is famous for its role as a key inland hub of the Gold Coast, extensive parklands and bike trails, and easy access to both the coast and hinterland.
