Rockhampton is located on the central coast of Queensland, about 630 kilometres north of Brisbane along the Fitzroy River. It lies between the Berserker Range to the east and the fertile river plains and cattle country that stretch inland. It is famous for its beef industry, historic architecture, and status as one of Queensland’s oldest regional cities.
