Taree is located on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, about 310 kilometres north of Sydney along the Manning River. It lies between the river’s fertile floodplains and the forested hinterland that rises toward the Great Dividing Range. It is famous for its agricultural production, riverfront lifestyle, and role as a major centre in the Manning Valley.
