Where is Fiji?

Fiji is a group of islands located in the South Pacific Ocean. Fiji is north of New Zealand's North Island and east of Australia, part of Oceania in the South Pacific Ocean about 1,100 nautical miles (2,000 km; 1,300 mi).

Where is Fiji Located?

Fiji is an island country in Melanesia, part of Oceania in the South Pacific Ocean.

The two larger and main islands are Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, both of them collectively account 87% of the total population. Suva, the capital city lies on the Viti Levu Island.

The significant sources of revenue of the country are its tourist industry and sugar exports. The territory has excellent landscapes for the tourism. Tourists from across the world nowadays prefer to visit the region especially young couples. This is one of the favorite honeymoon destinations of the world.

Government type of Fiji is parliamentary representative democratic republic characterized with multi-party system. Under the system, the President is use to be the head of state and the Prime Minister is the head of government.
