The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, which will be held in Paris, France from 26 July to 11 August 2024 , will see a participation of a total of 206 countries. The sixth Olympic Games hosted by France (three in summer Olympics and three in winter Olympics).

Where is Next Olympic Games Host City/ Country?
Paris, located in France will be hosting the 2024 Summer Olympics, also known as Games of XXXIII Olympiad. The event will begin on July 26 and end on August 11, 2024. On of the remarkable things to note is that Paris will be hosting the Olympic games after 100 years. Previously, Paris hosted Olympics twice viz., 1900 and 1924. On the other hand, France will be hosting the Olympic games for the 6th time (3 Summer and 3 Winter). After London, Paris will be the the second city to host Olympic games twice.
The bidding process for 2024 Olympic games began in 2015, and five countries have applied for the process. However, three countries Hamburg, Rome and Budapest withdrew from the bidding process. Out of Los Angels and Paris, the IOC approved Paris as the hosting country for 2024 Olympics and Los Angles for 2028.
