The Northeastern United States consists of nine states in the north central United States: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. It is one of four census regions of the U.S. Census Bureau. Popular cities in Northeast States are Chicago, Columbus, Indianapolis, Detroit, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Wichita, Omaha, St. Paul, Cleveland and St. Louis.
