Winners of T20 World Cup
The ICC Men's T20 World Cup which is also known as ICC World Twenty20 is an international championship of Twenty20 International cricket. The T20 World Cup is organized by the International Cricket Council. ICC conducts this tournament once every two years. ICC has conducted the T20 World Cup 6 times. The seventh season has just begun. Actually, the Seventh edition of the tournament was supposed to in the year 2020 Australia as host but due to outbreak of Pandemic, it was later decided the tournament could be held in India but because of COVID-19, the tournament has been postponed and ICC decided to conduct the matches in the United Arab Emirates. ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 was held in the United Arab Emirates. The winner of T20 World Cup 2021 was the Australia team, which defeated the New Zealand team in the finals. At Present, there are 16 teams in the T20 World Cup. The 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup is the tournament's eighth edition. It will be held in Australia from October 16 to November 13, 2022

Winners of T20 World Cup 2021- Australia
The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, which took place in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17 to November 14, was the seventh edition of the competition. The defending champions, the West Indies, were lost in the Super 12 round. After defeating England by five wickets in the semifinals, New Zealand became the first team to reach the final. New Zealand has never previously advanced to a T20 World Cup final. Australia, which defeated Pakistan by five wickets in the second semifinal, joined them in the championship match. After making it to the 2010 tournament's final, Australia qualified for the T20 World Cup for a second time. Australia won the first T20 World Cup after defeating New Zealand by eight wickets in the championship match. The winner of T20 World Cup 2021 was Australia team. David Warner was awarded Player of the Tournament, and Mitchell Marsh was crowned Player of the Match. The winners of T20 World Cup 2021 won $ 1,600,000 as the prize money.
The tournament was originally slated to take place in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused the International Cricket Council (ICC) to postpone the event. The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced in August 2020 that Australia would host the tournament that follows India's in 2021, as originally planned. But in June 2021, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that the tournament had been relocated to the United Arab Emirates because of growing worries about the COVID-19 pandemic situation in India and the possibility of a third wave of the pandemic there because of concerns about the Delta variant. The competition kicked off on October 17, 2021 and concluded on November 14, 2021. The tournament's preliminary rounds were held in the UAE and Oman.

Sri Lankan team`s constant efforts made them to stand two times as runners up in the year 2009, 2012 and win the Trophy in the year 2014 in ICC T20 World Cup. Sri Lanka won the tournament beating India by 6 wickets in the final match which was held in Bangladesh.

West Indies is one of the strongest teams of T20 World Cup tournament. Darren Sammy was the captain of West Indies who led the team into victory against Sri Lanka in the 2012 edition of T20 World Cup. West Indies had massive victory against Sri Lanka by 36 runs.

The 2010 ICC T20 World Cup was in fact the third edition of tournament of ICC World Cup Twenty20 which was held in the West Indies. In the tournament England stood victorious defeating its opponent Australia in the final Match. England won by 7 wickets.
