Geographically, Admiralty Island is situated at approximately 57.6000° North latitude and 134.3000° West longitude. It is separated from the Alaska mainland by Stephens Passage and Frederick Sound. Nearby locations include Juneau to the northeast, Chichagof Island to the west, and Baranof Island to the south.
