Millcreek is a township located in Erie County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, United States. Situated in northwestern Pennsylvania along the southern shore of Lake Erie, the township surrounds the city of Erie on three sides and serves as a major residential and commercial community in the region. Millcreek was established in 1805 and was named for the many creeks that flow through the area. The township has developed into one of the largest municipalities in northwestern Pennsylvania.
