Morrilton is a city located in Conway County, Arkansas, the United States. It lies in the Arkansas River Valley, about 50 miles west of Little Rock and about 45 miles east of Russellville. Conway is roughly 20 miles southeast, while Perryville is about 25 miles west. Morrilton is positioned near 35.151° North latitude and 92.744° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 6,992 residents. The city covers about 10.04 square miles, or 26.00 square kilometers, of land. Petit Jean State Park, located nearby on Petit Jean Mountain, is the area's best-known attraction and features waterfalls, overlooks, forests, and hiking trails.
