Breaux Bridge is approximately 10 miles east of Lafayette, 20 miles west of St. Martinville, and about 55 miles west of Baton Rouge. The city is located at approximately 30.2735° North latitude and 91.8993° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 7,125 residents. Breaux Bridge covers about 6.71 square miles, or 17.38 square kilometers, including approximately 6.50 square miles of land and 0.21 square miles of water.
