Trumann is a city located in Poinsett County, Arkansas, the United States. It lies in the Arkansas Delta of northeastern Arkansas, about 25 miles northeast of Jonesboro and roughly 15 miles south of Marked Tree. Harrisburg is approximately 20 miles east, while Lake City is about 30 miles northeast of Trumann. The city is located at approximately 35.6737° North latitude and 90.5073° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 6,796 residents. Trumann covers about 4.53 square miles, or approximately 11.73 square kilometers. The surrounding landscape consists mainly of flat agricultural land, drainage channels, wooded areas, and wetlands characteristic of the Mississippi River Delta region.
