Clarkston is a city located in DeKalb County, Georgia, the United States. It is about 10 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and 15 miles southwest of Stone Mountain. Clarkston is located at approximately 33.8096° North latitude and 84.2396° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 14,756 residents, and the city covers about 1.11 square miles (2.87 sq km). Clarkston is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area and has become known for its diverse population, with residents from many parts of the world.
