Doraville is a city located in DeKalb County, Georgia, the United States. It is situated in the northeastern Atlanta metropolitan area, about 15 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and close to Chamblee, Norcross, and Dunwoody. Doraville lies at approximately 33.90° North latitude and 84.28° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 10,623 residents. The city covers about 3.73 square miles (9.66 square kilometers), with nearly all of its area consisting of land. Doraville developed as a railroad community and was incorporated in 1871. The arrival of the railroad helped establish the city as a transportation and industrial center. Today, Doraville is known for its multicultural population and the busy Buford Highway corridor. The nearby Atlanta metropolitan area provides access to major attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and Stone Mountain Park.
