Peachtree Corners is a city located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, the United States. It lies in the northeastern Atlanta metropolitan area, along the Chattahoochee River and near the western edge of Gwinnett County. The city is about 20 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and roughly 10 miles west of Lawrenceville. Norcross is around 5 miles south, while Duluth is about 8 miles east. Peachtree Corners is positioned near 33.971° North latitude and 84.221° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 43,905 residents. The city covers about 16.64 square miles, or 43.10 square kilometers. Peachtree Corners grew rapidly after Technology Park Atlanta was developed in the 1960s, helping transform the area from a largely rural community into a major suburban business center. Technology companies, corporate offices, restaurants, apartments, and residential neighborhoods now occupy much of the city. The Chattahoochee River forms part of the western boundary and provides access to trails, fishing, boating, and wildlife areas. Peachtree Corners was incorporated as a city in 2012. A unique fact about the city is that it is home to Technology Park Atlanta, one of the Southeast's early planned technology business districts. Nearby Jones Bridge Park and the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area add natural spaces to the urban landscape.
