Senoia is a city located in Coweta County, Georgia, the United States. It lies in west-central Georgia, about 35 miles southwest of Atlanta and 20 miles south of Newnan. Peachtree City is roughly 10 miles east, while Griffin is about 20 miles south of Senoia. The city is located at 33.3021° North latitude and 84.5507° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 4,390 residents. Senoia covers about 5.4 square miles (14.0 square kilometers), with most of its area consisting of land. The historic downtown is the city’s best-known landmark, with preserved buildings and streets that reflect its 19th-century roots. Senoia also became widely recognized as a filming location for The Walking Dead and other productions.
