It lies in the Florida Panhandle along the northern side of St. Andrews Bay, about 3 miles east of downtown Panama City and roughly 10 miles north of Panama City Beach. Callaway is about 7 miles east, while Lynn Haven is approximately 8 miles northwest of Springfield. The city is located at 30.1711° North latitude and 85.6122° West longitude.
