Tucker is a city located in DeKalb County, Georgia, the United States. It lies in northeast metro Atlanta, about 15 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and roughly 15 miles southwest of Lawrenceville. Decatur is about 8 miles southwest, while Norcross is approximately 8 miles north of Tucker. The city is located at approximately 33.8548° North latitude and 84.2058° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 37,005 residents. Tucker covers about 12.17 square miles, or approximately 31.52 square kilometers. The surrounding landscape includes established neighborhoods, wooded areas, streams, commercial corridors, and gently rolling terrain typical of the Atlanta metropolitan region.
