It lies in northeast metro Atlanta, about 15 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and roughly 15 miles southwest of Lawrenceville. Decatur is about 8 miles southwest, while Norcross is approximately 8 miles north of Tucker. The city is located at approximately 33.8548° North latitude and 84.2058° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 37,005 residents. Tucker covers about 12.17 square miles, or approximately 31.52 square kilometers.
