East Moline is a city located in Rock Island County, Illinois, the United States. It lies on the eastern side of the Quad Cities metropolitan area along the Mississippi River. Moline is about 5 miles west, while Rock Island is roughly 8 miles southwest. Davenport, Iowa, is located across the Mississippi River, making East Moline part of a bi-state urban area. The city is situated at approximately 41.515° North latitude and 90.443° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 21,374 residents, and the city covers about 14.60 square miles, or 37.80 square kilometers. East Moline is known for its connection to agricultural manufacturing, especially the John Deere Harvester Works.
