Loganville is a city located in Walton County, with parts also extending into Gwinnett County, Georgia, the United States. It lies about 35 miles east of downtown Atlanta, 15 miles southeast of Lawrenceville, and about 30 miles west of Athens. Loganville is located at approximately 33.839° North latitude and 83.901° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 14,127 residents, and the city covers about 7.48 square miles (19.37 sq km). Loganville was founded in the 19th century and incorporated in 1914. The community developed around agriculture and the railroad and later became part of the expanding Atlanta metropolitan area. Historic Downtown Loganville contains older commercial buildings, restaurants, shops, and community gathering places.
