Northlake is a city located in Cook County, Illinois, the United States. It lies in the western suburbs of Chicago, about 15 miles west of downtown Chicago and roughly 5 miles southeast of O'Hare International Airport. Elmhurst is about 5 miles southwest, while Franklin Park is around 3 miles east. Northlake is positioned near 41.917° North latitude and 87.895° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 12,840 residents. The city covers about 3.72 square miles, or 9.63 square kilometers, including land and water. Its location near Interstate 290, Interstate 294, and several major arterial roads gives Northlake strong connections to Chicago and nearby suburbs.
