It lies in the western suburbs of Chicago, about 15 miles west of downtown Chicago and roughly 5 miles southeast of O'Hare International Airport. Elmhurst is about 5 miles southwest, while Franklin Park is around 3 miles east. Northlake is positioned near 41.917° North latitude and 87.895° West longitude.
