It lies in the western suburbs of Cleveland, about 20 miles southwest of downtown Cleveland and roughly 10 miles southeast of Elyria. Berea is about 5 miles northeast, while North Olmsted is around 5 miles north. Olmsted Falls is positioned near 41.375° North latitude and 81.908° West longitude.
