Parma Heights is a city located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, the United States. It lies in the southwestern suburbs of Cleveland, about 10 miles southwest of downtown Cleveland and roughly 5 miles north of Strongsville. Parma is immediately east, while Middleburg Heights is about 3 miles west. Parma Heights is positioned near 41.390° North latitude and 81.762° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 20,863 residents. The city covers about 4.19 square miles, or 10.85 square kilometers. Parma Heights developed as a residential suburb during the 20th century as Cleveland expanded outward. Its neighborhoods include a mix of single-family homes, apartments, local businesses, schools, and community parks. Greenbrier Commons is one of the city's main recreational areas and provides open space, sports facilities, walking areas, and community events. Parma Heights was incorporated as a village in 1959 and became a city in 1961.
