Pepper Pike is a city located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, the United States. It lies in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland, about 15 miles east of downtown Cleveland and roughly 10 miles north of Chagrin Falls. Beachwood is around 5 miles west, while Solon is about 8 miles south. Pepper Pike is positioned near 41.479° North latitude and 81.474° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 6,094 residents. The city covers about 7.93 square miles, or 20.54 square kilometers. Pepper Pike developed as a rural settlement before becoming a suburban community as the Cleveland metropolitan area expanded eastward. The city is characterized by wooded lots, winding roads, streams, and large residential properties. The nearby Chagrin River and South Chagrin Reservation provide natural scenery, hiking trails, picnic areas, and wildlife habitat. Pepper Pike was incorporated as a village in 1924 and became a city in 1970.
