Social Circle is a city located in Walton County, Georgia, the United States. It lies in the Piedmont region of northeastern Georgia, about 50 miles east of Atlanta and 20 miles southwest of Athens. Monroe is about 10 miles southwest, while Covington is roughly 15 miles west of Social Circle. The city is located at 33.6562° North latitude and 83.6838° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 4,886 residents. Social Circle covers about 6.3 square miles (16.3 square kilometers), with most of its area consisting of land.
