The city is in southern Alabama, about 90 miles (145 km) northeast of Mobile, 65 miles (105 km) northwest of Pensacola, Florida, and around 75 miles (121 km) south of Montgomery. Brewton is located at approximately 31.1052° North latitude and 87.0727° West longitude. According to the 2020 United States Census, the city had a population of 2,752.
