Centerville is a city located in Montgomery County, Ohio, the United States. It is about 10 miles south of Dayton and 50 miles northeast of Cincinnati. Centerville is located at approximately 39.6284° North latitude and 84.1594° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 24,240 residents, and the city covers about 12.27 square miles (31.78 sq km). The Centerville Historic District and the Bill Yeck Park area are notable local landmarks. Centerville was founded in 1796 and incorporated as a village in 1857 before becoming a city in 1968.
