It lies along the eastern shore of the Great Salt Lake in northern Utah, about 20 miles north of Salt Lake City, 8 miles south of Ogden, and roughly 5 miles east of the lake's shoreline. Fruit Heights is positioned at approximately 41.033° North latitude and 111.902° West longitude. The city covers about 2.30 square miles, or 5.96 square kilometers, of land. The 2020 Census recorded 6,047 residents, while recent estimates place the population at about 6,200. Fruit Heights sits at an elevation of roughly 4,800 feet above sea level, with neighborhoods located along the lower slopes of the Wasatch Range.
