Geneva is a city located in Ashtabula County, Ohio, the United States. It lies in northeastern Ohio near Lake Erie, about 40 miles northeast of Cleveland and roughly 20 miles west of Ashtabula. Geneva is part of the broader Cleveland-Akron-Canton region and is close to Geneva-on-the-Lake, one of the state's well-known lakeside resort communities.
