Hyde Park is a city located in Cache County, Utah, the United States. It lies in Cache Valley, about 5 miles north of Logan and roughly 80 miles north of Salt Lake City. Hyde Park sits along the western side of the valley near the Wellsville Mountains, while the Bear River Range rises to the east. The city is located at approximately 41.795° North latitude and 111.816° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 4,791 residents. Hyde Park covers about 4.22 square miles, or 10.93 square kilometers. The community was settled by Mormon pioneers in the 19th century and has retained several historic buildings and local traditions. Hyde Park is close to Logan Canyon, which provides access to hiking, camping, fishing, climbing, and scenic drives through the Wasatch Mountains. A unique feature of the city is its location in the fertile Cache Valley, where farms and residential neighborhoods meet the mountain foothills. The city is also part of the growing Logan urban area.
