Kent is a city located in Portage County, Ohio, the United States. It lies in northeastern Ohio, about 10 miles northeast of Akron and roughly 35 miles southeast of Cleveland. Kent is part of the Akron metropolitan area and is also within the broader Cleveland-Akron-Canton region. The city is located at approximately 41.153° North latitude and 81.357° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 28,215 residents. Kent covers about 9.28 square miles, or 24.04 square kilometers.
