Millcreek is a city located in Salt Lake County, Utah, the United States. It lies immediately southeast of Salt Lake City and is bordered by Salt Lake City, South Salt Lake, Murray, and Holladay. Millcreek is about 5 miles from downtown Salt Lake City and about 30 miles from Park City. The city is positioned near 40.689° North latitude and 111.829° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 63,380 residents. Millcreek covers about 12.77 square miles, or 33.07 square kilometers. Millcreek Canyon and the Wasatch Mountains form major natural landmarks along the city's eastern side. A unique fact about Millcreek is that it became an incorporated city on December 28, 2016, making it one of Utah's newer cities. Its location gives residents quick access to both the Salt Lake Valley and nearby mountain recreation areas.
