Northwood is a city located in Wood County, Ohio, the United States. It lies in northwest Ohio, immediately southeast of Toledo and about 6 miles east of downtown Toledo. Oregon is around 5 miles northeast, while Perrysburg is about 10 miles southwest. Northwood is positioned near 41.611° North latitude and 83.468° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 5,265 residents. The city covers about 8.52 square miles, or 22.07 square kilometers, including land and water. Northwood sits close to Lake Erie and the Maumee River, with Maumee Bay State Park located a short drive northeast.
