Rossford is a city located in Wood County, Ohio, the United States. It lies along the Maumee River in northwest Ohio, about 6 miles southeast of downtown Toledo and roughly 8 miles west of Perrysburg. Northwood is around 5 miles north, while Bowling Green is about 20 miles south. Rossford is positioned near 41.609° North latitude and 83.564° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 6,299 residents. The city covers about 5.33 square miles, or 13.80 square kilometers. Rossford was incorporated in 1939 and developed from a community shaped by river transportation, railroads, and nearby industrial activity.
