Smithfield is a city located in Cache County, Utah, the United States. It lies in Cache Valley in northern Utah, about 6 miles north of Logan and roughly 80 miles north of Salt Lake City. Hyde Park is about 2 miles south, while Richmond is approximately 7 miles north of Smithfield. The city is located at 41.8330° North latitude and 111.8330° West longitude.
