Tallmadge is a city located in Summit County, Ohio, the United States. It lies in northeastern Ohio, about 8 miles east of Akron and roughly 35 miles south of Cleveland. Stow is about 5 miles north, while Cuyahoga Falls is approximately 7 miles northwest of Tallmadge. The city is located at 41.1014° North latitude and 81.4418° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 18,394 residents. Tallmadge covers about 14.02 square miles, or approximately 36.31 square kilometers. The city has a mix of residential neighborhoods, wooded areas, wetlands, farmland, and commercial districts. Its most recognizable landmark is Tallmadge Circle, a historic roundabout centered on the First Congregational Church and surrounded by older homes and civic buildings. The area also provides convenient access to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, where visitors can explore forests, waterfalls, trails, and historic sites.
