The Village of Indian Hill is a city located in Hamilton County, Ohio, the United States. It lies in southwestern Ohio, about 10 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati and roughly 15 miles southwest of Lebanon. Montgomery is about 5 miles west, while Loveland is approximately 7 miles northeast of Indian Hill. The village is located at 39.1864° North latitude and 84.3372° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 5,657 residents. Indian Hill covers about 19.43 square miles, or approximately 50.33 square kilometers, making it one of the larger communities by land area in Hamilton County. The landscape includes wooded hills, open fields, winding roads, streams, and large residential properties. The Little Miami River forms part of the area's natural setting and provides access to scenic trails and recreational areas nearby. Indian Hill developed from a rural farming community into a residential village while preserving much of its open landscape. The area is also close to the Little Miami Scenic Trail and several historic properties. A unique feature of Indian Hill is its rural character and large amount of open space despite being within the Cincinnati metropolitan area.
