Tuskegee is a city located in Macon County, Alabama, the United States. It lies in east-central Alabama, about 40 miles east of Montgomery and roughly 45 miles west of Auburn. Shorter is approximately 20 miles northeast, while Union Springs is about 25 miles southeast of Tuskegee. The city is located at approximately 32.4300° North latitude and 85.7080° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 8,422 residents. Tuskegee covers about 15.52 square miles, or approximately 40.19 square kilometers.
