Twinsburg is a city located in Summit County, Ohio, the United States. It lies in northeastern Ohio between Cleveland and Akron, about 20 miles southeast of downtown Cleveland and roughly 15 miles north of Akron. Macedonia is about 5 miles northwest, while Hudson is approximately 8 miles southwest of Twinsburg. The city is located at approximately 41.3126° North latitude and 81.4401° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 19,507 residents. Twinsburg covers about 13.88 square miles, or approximately 35.95 square kilometers. The surrounding landscape includes wooded hills, residential neighborhoods, wetlands, streams, and open green spaces characteristic of the northeastern Ohio landscape. Twinsburg was founded in 1817 by Moses and Aaron Wilcox, identical twin brothers who gave the community its distinctive name.
