Willoughby lies at approximately 41.639° North latitude and 81.407° West longitude. The city had 22,068 residents in the 2020 Census and covers about 10.34 square miles, or 26.78 square kilometers. Willoughby was settled in the early 19th century and incorporated as a city in 1950.
