Blaine is a city located in Whatcom County, Washington, the United States. It lies at the northern edge of Washington along the Canadian border, about 22 miles (35 km) north of Bellingham, 35 miles (56 km) south of Vancouver, British Columbia, and about 110 miles (177 km) north of Seattle. Blaine is located at 48.9947° North latitude and 122.7474° West longitude. According to the 2020 United States Census, the city had a population of 5,884. Blaine covers approximately 8.34 square miles (21.60 sq km). The city is best known for Peace Arch Park, which spans the United States-Canada border, and for the Peace Arch Border Crossing, one of the busiest land crossings between the two countries.
