Marysville is a city located in St. Clair County, Michigan, the United States. It lies along the St. Clair River in southeastern Michigan, about 55 miles northeast of Detroit and roughly 10 miles south of Port Huron. Marysville is located at approximately 42.912° North latitude and 82.486° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 9,997 residents, and the city covers about 8.38 square miles (21.70 sq km). Marysville was incorporated as a city in 1919 and developed from an earlier settlement associated with the St. Clair River. The river provided an important transportation route and helped shape the community's industrial and commercial development. Marysville became especially known for manufacturing, including automobile-related production and other industries located along the river.
