Milford is a city located in Clermont County and Hamilton County, Ohio, the United States. It lies in southwestern Ohio along the Little Miami River and is about 16 miles east of Cincinnati. The city is also about 6 miles south of Loveland and roughly 8 miles west of Batavia. Milford is positioned near 39.170° North latitude and 84.281° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 6,582 residents. The city covers about 3.84 square miles, or 9.94 square kilometers, including about 3.71 square miles of land and 0.12 square miles of water. The historic downtown area and the Little Miami River are important local landmarks. A unique fact about Milford is that its city limits extend across two counties. The community was settled in 1796 and was incorporated as a village in 1836 before becoming a city in the 20th century.
